Binary cheat codes:
Unlock the listed cheat by entering the corresponding code at the "Secret Codes" screen. To enable a cheat, pause the game and go to the "Game Enhancements" menu. Then, select the cheat you want to enable. Note: When a cheat is enabled, the chapter you are playing will not be available for replay after the game is completed:

Unlockable characters:
Unlock the listed character by completing the corresponding task.
Airplane Bodyguard. - Beat the game on headshot mode.
Brummel - Defeat brummel.
Nightmare - Beat the game on close combat mode.
SWAT Leader - Defeat swat leader.
The Immortal - Beat the game.
The Original Spider - Beat the spider boss battle in the game.
The Russian - Defeat the russian.
Easy achievements:
After beating the game, start a new game in headshot mode (for dr. lobotomy), time attack mode (for catch me if you can) or close combat mode (for butcher would be proud) and complete the first two scenes of the first level. When the third scene loads, quit to the main menu. Go to "Unlocked Acts" and select the last level using any character and the same difficulty you started the new game with. You can use cheats on the last level to easily get new achievements.
